Rain wreaks havoc in hill states

Heavy to very heavy rain likely in Uttarakhand-UP
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of Northwest India during the next three days under the influence of these conditions. At the same time, heavy to very heavy rains are likely in some districts of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh during the next five days. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh till July 14 and 17.
Yellow and orange alert issued for these districts of Kerala
In Kerala, rain continues in many parts of the state under the influence of Southwest Monsoon and the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for hilly Idukki district and a yellow alert for 11 other districts. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts.
