- Manish Sisodia’s lawyer gave information
Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia’s lawyer told that there is nothing concrete in the CBI’s remand copy, the same old allegations. He said that when the court gives remand for the first time and when the remand is to be given for the second time, there is a difference in the reasons and circumstances for giving remand. CBI should have a solid reason. The CBI informed the court that the recording of the entire interrogation is in the CD but it cannot be shown in the court. At present, the judge asked for the case diary of the Sisodia case.
- CBI alleges Sisodia
Let us tell you that Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday evening in connection with alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the excise policy for the year 2021-22. For the time being this policy has been cancelled. According to the CBI, he was interrogated for eight hours before his arrest but his answers were allegedly not found satisfactory. On February 27, the court had sent Sisodia to CBI custody so that the probe agency could get the right answers to the questions put to it for proper and fair investigation. According to media reports, the health of Manish Sisodia’s wife is bad and at this time it is the time of festival, so she had applied for bail.
