After this, the Naxalites escaped after looting an AK-47 rifle, two bulletproof jackets and a walkie talkie from the soldiers.

Four days ago, security forces had arrested three Naxalites in Naxal-affected Dantewada district. It is believed that the Naxalites have carried out this action to avenge him. Security forces arrested three Naxalites Hunga Kartam (25), Ayta Madvi (25) and Pojja alias Lathi Kartam (28) from Kuakonda police station area of ​​Dantewada.
 Police officials had said that on Sunday, the police team was sent from Kuakonda police station towards Badegudra and Atepal villages. When the team was in the forest near Atepal village, three suspects started running away. The police team laid siege and caught them. When the police team questioned them, they revealed their names as Hunga Kartam, Ayta Madvi and Pozza alias Lathi Kartam.
