Honda City Facelift: Honda has launched its Honda City compact sedan in a new avatar in India. Changes have been made in the design, features and powertrain of the new Honda City. It is one of the popular sedan car sold in India. Honda City 2023 has been introduced in four variants, which include SV, V, VX and ZX. Honda has priced the new City in the range of ₹ 11.49 lakhs to ₹ 15.97 lakhs for the petrol-only variants. While its hybrid model (City e:HEV facelift) will be priced between ₹ 18.89 lakh to ₹ 20.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The Honda City competes with the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna 2023. Hyundai Verna will also be launched in a new avatar on 21st March.
The company has upgraded the exteriors, but the interiors have not changed much. It has been introduced with a dual-tone theme and new upholstery. It has features like 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver display, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof. The company has also provided the facility of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with wireless charging.

The company has made the biggest addition in terms of features in the new Honda City in the form of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System). The company added this feature to the Strong Hybrid variant last year. Under this, the car gets facilities like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and autonomous emergency braking.
Talking about the engine, the 1.5-litre diesel engine has been discontinued. In its place, a 1.5-litre petrol engine has been given, which can now run on E20 ethanol-blend. This engine is capable of generating 121 hp power and 145 Nm peak torque. The Honda City petrol returns a mileage of 17.8 kmpl for the manual variant and 18.4 kmpl for the automatic variant. While its 1.5-liter hybrid engine gives power of 126 hp and peak torque of 256 Nm. Its fuel economy is 27.13 kmpl.
