New Delhi: In view of the rising graph of inflation, electronic vehicles are launching advance edge vehicles with new experiments from time to time to give relief to the customers. In this sequence, Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup, ‘Bounce’ has also launched its first electric scooter, ‘Bounce Infinity E1’. The biggest feature of this e-scooter is that in this you will get relief from the hassle of charging the battery. Bounce has given ‘Battery as a Service’ option in this e-scooter.

Now let us tell you what is ‘Battery as a Service’. ‘Battery as a Service’ lets you swap your battery from the company’s station whenever your scooter’s battery starts getting depleted. That is, the customer will not be worried about the charging of this scooter. The company will provide the facility of battery swapping on its behalf. Customers will be able to swap an empty battery with a fully charged battery through Bounce’s swapping network. For this customers will have to pay. The company has claimed that it reduces the cost by up to 40 percent compared to petrol scooters.

The company has fixed its price at Rs 45,099 (Delhi ex-showroom). Customers can pre-book it by making an initial payment of only Rs 499 (fully refundable). The e-scooter is expected to be delivered by the end of March next through its dealership network and online platform.

The company’s CEO Vivekananda told ‘The Better India Website’ that the Bounce Infinity E1 is the first e-scooter in the Indian e-scooter market, which offers ‘Battery as a Service’ feature. The company claims that around 200 stations are already connected to its battery-swapping station network in major Indian cities like Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. The company’s CEO told that his aim is to make India the world’s largest ‘battery swapping platform’. So that customers can get a swapping facility for every kilometer.

If customers do not want to take the battery swapping facility, then they can buy Infinity E1 (Bounce Infinity E1) with battery as well. Another feature of this is that customers can easily remove the scooter battery and charge it at home or office. The price of this scooter with battery and charger is Rs 68,999 (ex-showroom). It can cover a distance of up to 85 km on a single charge. Its battery takes about 4 to 5 hours to get fully charged.

The Bounce Infinity E1 has a top speed of 65 kmph. It can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 8 seconds. It has two riding modes, Power and Eco mode. Also, this e-scooter comes with a warranty of up to 50,000 km for 3 years.
