IMD Predicts Rainfall In Delhi-NCR: Due to rain in Delhi and surrounding areas, the temperature will decrease. IMD has issued an orange alert in Delhi.
New Delhi: Amidst the scorching heat, there is news of relief for the people of Delhi. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that today (on Thursday) there may be rain in the country’s national capital Delhi and its adjoining areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in South East Delhi, East Delhi and South Delhi today. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Faridabad, Ballabgarh, Panipat and Roorkee.
On Wednesday, the Meteorological Department said that the Southwest Monsoon will again show its effect in North India after a gap of two weeks. Due to this, IMD has issued an orange alert in Delhi.
According to the Meteorological Department, good rains are expected in the national capital Delhi for the next 10 days in August.
Apart from this, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rains in Bijnor, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Muzaffarnagar and Chandpur in western Uttar Pradesh.
Let us inform that on Wednesday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was 38 degree Celsius. It was 4 degrees Celsius above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 27.4 degrees Celsius, which was 1 degree Celsius above normal. During this, the humidity in the air ranged from 45 to 85 percent. It is expected that the maximum temperature may drop on Thursday.
