apparently not! Uninstalling or deleting an app is not enough to make your device free from its harm. As in the case of the Color Messages app, uninstalling it won’t be enough to cancel the subscriptions you’ve been secretly signed up for because of malware.
For that you have to re-open the Google Play Store and proceed to Subscription in the menu. Check all the premium subscriptions you’ve signed up for, and if any of them look suspicious, select them, and then cancel the subscription, then you’ll have to follow the on-screen instructions. Now you will be completely safe from harm.
