Information about this incident was given to senior BSF officers. After this, after the flag meeting of the officers of BSF and Pak Rangers, an agreement was reached, in which the BSF jawan was released at around 1.50 pm. This jawan was recently posted at Abohar border.

Actually, after the suspicion was revealed, 8 BSF personnel were taken for search operation on the other side of the barricade due to fog, out of which one reply went towards Pakistan due to fog. There was a flag meeting between Pak Rangers and BSF regarding this matter.
The BSF officer said, Head Constable Hemnath of 160 Battalion had by mistake reached towards Pakistan in Abohar sector. This happened during the search operation. This incident happened at 6.30 in the morning.
