Maruti Grand Vitara CNG: Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of its most expensive and premium SUV Grand Vitara. The starting price of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG has been kept at Rs 12.85 lakh.
Maruti Grand Vitara CNG Price & Mileage: Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of its most expensive and premium SUV Grand Vitara. The starting price of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG has been kept at Rs 12.85 Lakh, which goes up to Rs 14.84 Lakh. It is offered in only two variants – Delta (MT) and Zeta (MT). Both these variants are powered by the next-gen K-series 1.5-litre, dual jet, dual VVT engine. CNG kit has been offered in this engine unit.
On CNG it can give 64.6kW@5500rpm peak power output. In CNG mode, it can generate maximum torque of 121.5 Nm @ 4200rpm. The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG is offered only with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the K-Series 1.5-litre petrol engine also comes with a 6-speed AMT (in the regular petrol variant). Maruti Suzuki claims that the Grand Vitara CNG can deliver a mileage of up to 26.6 km/kg.
Its CNG variant (Zeta) will get 6 airbags. It is also the only premium CNG SUV in the country to come in 6 airbag variants. It will get next-gen technology such as SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and in-built next-gen Suzuki Connect. It will have 40+ connected features.
Regarding the Grand Vitara CNG launch, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “Grand Vitara has received a great response from Indian consumers since its launch in September 2022. The S-CNG option has further enhanced the appeal of the Grand Vitara.”
Srivastava said, “The Grand Vitara S-CNG will contribute to our aggressive plan to expand our green-powertrain offerings.” Maruti now has 14 CNG models.
