BMW 7 Series and i7 Launch: BMW India has launched the new 7 Series and the first i7 electric sedan in the country. While the price of BMW 7 Series starts from Rs.1.70 crore, the price of BMW i7 starts from Rs.1.95 crore. The company has also started booking them from today. The seventh generation BMW 7 Series has seen a major change in design as compared to the current model. It gets a new kidney grille and split LED headlamps, new alloy wheels and wraparound LED taillights. Both the models come with good road presence and bold looks. It has 20 inch alloy wheels.

In this, you can get a cinema hall-like experience on the rear seats. For this, there is an option to install a 31.3-inch 8K theater screen with Amazon Fire TV built-in in the car. The display flips down from the roof between the front and rear seats. The rear doors also get an integrated 5.5-inch touchscreen control panel.
Apart from this, leather upholstery, 18-speaker 4D audio system, executive lounge seats with reclining up to 42.5 degrees, massage and seat ventilation, automatic doors, panoramic glass roof and cloud-based navigation are included.

The BMW 7 Series is powered by the 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder petrol engine on the 740i M Sport, which produces 376 bhp and 520 Nm of peak power. It gets an 8-speed automatic transmission. While the BMW i7 gets a 101.7 kWh battery pack, which promises a range of 625 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge. Through fast charger, it can be charged up to 10-80 percent in just 34 minutes.
