Vande Bharat Update(IRCTC): A passenger traveling in the Vande Bharat Express train received a complaint of finding cockroaches in the food served, after which IRCTC was seen in action.

Vande Bharat Train Food: There was a complaint of cockroach in the food served to the passenger in the Vande Bharat Express train, which was considered as VIP, after which IRCTC appeared in action and on the service provider Heavy fine imposed. Please inform that the complaint of finding cockroaches in the food served in the Vande Bharat train was made by a passenger tagging IRCTC on Twitter. After which IRCTC took cognizance of the matter and took action against the service provider. Along with this, IRCTC also assured that such incidents should not happen further, it will be fully taken care of.

Please tell that this matter is of last 24th July. When Subodh was traveling in the Vande Bharat train going from MP’s Rani Kamalapati Railway Station to Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin. He had ordered food in the train. When paratha came in front of him to eat, he saw a cockroach in it. After this, he took a photo of the cockroach found in the food and tweeted it tagging IRCTC.

After Subodh’s complaint, IRCTC took action and gave information about it in response to the tweet. IRCTC wrote in response that Sir, we apologize for this unpleasant experience. The matter has been taken seriously. The concerned service provider has been strictly warned to take proper precautions while cooking. Along with this, heavy fine has been imposed on the service provider and the surveillance on the kitchen has been strengthened.
