- More than 46 thousand new cases were reported
In the last 24 hours, 46,164 new cases of corona virus have been reported from across the country, according to figures released by the Union Health Ministry today. This brings the total number of Corona cases to 3,25,58,530. There are currently 3,33,725 patients under treatment in the country. In one day however 34,159 patients have recovered. With this, the total number of patients recovered has reached 3,17,88,440.
- Mortality also increased
Corona has killed 607 people in the country in the last 24 hours, according to government figures. With this the total death toll from Corona has now reached 436365. The vaccination campaign in the country to control corona is also in full swing. So far 60,38,46,475 people have been vaccinated. Of these, 80,40,407 doses were given yesterday.
- Cases almost doubled in 2 days
The last 2 days have seen a rapid increase in the number of Kovid-19 cases in India. As on August 24, 25467 new cases were reported across the country. According to the Union Health Ministry, 37,593 cases were reported on Wednesday, August 25, and today, August 26, the number has risen to 46,164.

In Kerala, 31,445 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. While 24,296 crore positive patients were registered in the state on Tuesday.
