Now, after more than half a decade, the SUV has come in a new avatar, so the Avatar is there and the romance is still alive.

Let us tell you that Mahindra Thar has been introduced with a petrol engine for the first time. Its new turbo petrol engine will generate maximum power of 150 bhp and peak torque of 320 Nm. Talking about the diesel model, it has been given a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine with BS6 compliant for power. Its diesel engine will generate 130 bhp power and 300 Nm peak torque.

The new Thar gets a 7-inch diesel-resistant touchscreen infotainment system with support for Apple Car Play and Android Auto. In this, the rear seat has now been given front facing. The new Thar is offered in six colours, Red Rage, Mystic Copper, Napoli Black, Aquamarine, Galaxy Gray and Rocky Beige. Its look has been updated a bit as compared to before. It gets cruise control, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, hill-hold and rollover with ESP.
