Apart from this, today there is a plan to illuminate 100 heritage monuments across the country with the tricolor. The 225 feet long tricolor will be hoisted at the Red Fort. Its weight is about 1400 kg. This tricolor, 225 feet long and 150 feet wide, was hoisted in Leh on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October. This tricolor is the largest hand-woven cotton khadi flag ever manufactured in India.
