Twin Tower Blast: The company that made the twin towers said, ‘We did not do any work going beyond the rules. The construction took place after making full payment to the Noida Authority. However, the Supreme Court did not find the construction satisfactory on technical grounds.
Twin Tower Blast Supertech statement:Supertech, a company working in the real estate sector, has said that it had constructed the twin tower only under the building scheme approved by the Noida Development Authority and no changes were made in it. Let us tell you that this twin tower of Supertech was demolished today at 2.30 pm under a remote control system.
- ‘No impact on other projects’
Supertech said the demolition of these two towers will not affect the company’s other real estate projects and home buyers will be provided their flats on time. More than 3,700 kg of explosives were used to bring down these buildings 100 meters taller than Qutub Minar in Delhi. The Supreme Court had termed this construction in the middle of the Emerald Court Society complex as a violation of rules, after which the demolition work was finally completed.
- Supertech’s statement
“The Twin Towers Apex and Cyan in Noida are part of the Emerald Court project in Sector 93A and were built on the land allotted by the Noida Authority,” Supertech said in a statement. The building plans, including these two towers, were approved by the Noida Authority in 2009 and were in full compliance with the building bye-laws announced by the state government at that time.
- Did not work beyond the rules: Supertech
The company said that no work has been done beyond the building rules and they were constructed only after making full payment to the Noida Authority. “However, the Supreme Court did not find the construction satisfactory on technical grounds and ordered the demolition of these two towers,” it said. We respect the order of the apex court and commit to comply with it.
Supertech further said, “We have provided more than 70,000 houses to home buyers and rest of the houses will be given to the buyers within a stipulated time frame. We want to assure all the home buyers that the order of the Supreme Court will not have any impact on our other projects and all those projects will continue.
