- There is an account of the economic development of the year
Let us tell you that the Economic Survey is an account of the economic development of the country in a year. On the basis of which it is estimated that how was the economy of the country within the last one year. On which fronts there was an advantage and where was the loss. Overall, it can be said that the Economic Survey presents a picture of the country’s economy within the last one year. For the first time the Economic Survey of the country was presented in 1950-51. Since 1964, the Finance Ministry has been issuing surveys a day before the budget. This report is prepared by the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA).
- Based on this, the future plan is made.
On the basis of this economic survey, it is decided that what kind of possibilities are there inside the economy in the coming year. The special thing is that on the basis of this survey suggestions are also given to the government. But whether to implement them or not is the responsibility of the government. This is the reason why the Economic Survey is presented in Parliament just before the budget.
