Kunduz: There was a big bomb blast on Friday in Kunduz province of Afghanistan. In this accident 100 people died, while many others were injured. According to the local administration, the blast took place near the Shiite Mosque. At present, the work of getting the injured admitted to the hospital is being done.
- Blast happened on Sunday too
Earlier on 3 October, a deadly explosion took place outside a mosque in Kabul, in which 5 civilians were killed. The Taliban official said that these people had gathered in the mosque to mourn the death of the mother of the organization’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid. Although no one claimed responsibility for the attack, suspicion went to the Islamic State group, which has intensified attacks against the Taliban since its capture of Kabul in August.
However, hours after that blast, the Taliban took revenge for the deaths of their people by attacking the Islamic State hideout in the capital of Afghanistan, and killed several terrorists. The Mujahid said in a statement on Monday that Taliban forces stormed an Islamic State center in Khair Khana, north of Kabul. However, he did not say how many IS terrorists were killed. And was any Taliban fighter also injured during this?
- The most dangerous explosion since the occupation
According to experts, Sunday’s blast attacks were the most dangerous since the Taliban took over Afghanistan. Earlier on 26 August, the Islamic State group had claimed responsibility for the horrific attack, in which more than 169 Afghans and 13 American soldiers were killed outside Kabul Airport.
