Honda has launched the updated Giorno Scooter specifically for the Japanese market which looks quite beautiful. The company is not going to present it in India at the moment.

New Delhi: Honda has launched the updated Giorno scooter in Japan which looks very beautiful. Apart from minor changes, this 50 cc scooter has been introduced in many new colors. This is a great option for everyday use, which comes with a curvy body design apart from round headlight and retro design. It weighs just 81 kg and has a seat height of 720 mm which can be used for grocery or daily use very easily.

The Honda Giorno is powered by a 50 cc air-cooled 4-stroke engine that generates 4.5 PS and 4.1 Nm of peak torque. The most striking thing is that it has a mileage of up to 80 kmp,while its fuel tank is 4.5 liters which takes it to 350 km once the petrol is full.

Talking about the features, Honda Giorno with analog dial and small size digital inset, halogen illumination and 12V USB socket has also been provided. Its underpinnings are also very simple. Here you get telescopic forks in the front and dual shocks in the rear, besides drum brakes in both the wheels.

Honda has currently made the Giorno scooter only for Japan and the company has not yet made any plans regarding its launch in India. Its price is 2,09,000 in Japanese yen, which in India becomes around Rs 1.34 lakh. Which is quite a lot compared to the competition, even the recently launched Yamaha Aerox 155 is cheaper than this. Even though this scooter has been designed according to the Japanese market, but still its price is quite high according to the 50 cc scooter.
