Omicron New Variant: A new variant of Omicron has arrived in India. The name is XBB.1.5. Five cases have been registered in the country. These five cases have been found in Gujarat, Karnataka and Rajasthan. In less than 6 months, more than 40 percent cases of XBB variant have come in India. - Covid’s XBB.1.5 variant is becoming a new problem
Omicron has a total of 63% cases in India and now the XBB.1.5 variant of Kovid is becoming a new problem. This is a sub-variant of XBB which is made up of BA.2.75 and BA.2.10.1. That is, it is a recombinant variant. The XBB variant is in India since 6 months. That’s why its new form is less likely to do much harm in India. According to Senior Physician Dr. M Wali, people in India need to be cautious, not afraid.
However, this time the government is not in the mood to take any risk regarding Corona. That’s why pulse oximeters including oxygen are counting across the country. Export is being tracked. The government has decided not to increase the prices of oximeters, blood pressure measuring machines, nebulizers, digital thermometers and glucometers till March 2023 by issuing a gadget notification.
Apart from this, the price of liquid oxygen will also not be increased. According to the manufacturers of these goods, the preparation regarding Corona is complete in India. According to Rajesh Kanodia of Sara Health Care, self-reliance has increased in India during the Kovid period. Earlier the raw material of many goods used to come from China, but now it is being manufactured in India only. Although the demand for goods used in Corona has increased in China.
