The aluminum body will make Vande Bharat trains lighter and more energy efficient. Also, the cost of these trains will also come down. According to the terms of the railway deal, Indian Railways will provide infra and factory manufacturing facilities to these companies. But apart from manufacturing the trains, these companies will also have to help in maintenance for the next 35 years.
