Monsoon turf line passing through Gaya, there will be heavy rain in these districts in the next 24 hours
The monsoon turf line (Bihar Weather) is passing through the foothills of the Western Himalayas. The eastern part of UP is passing through the southeast Bay of Bengal via Gorakhpur, Gaya in Bihar, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, Balasore.
Patna: There has been news of rain in many parts of Bihar during the last 24 hours. Rain has occurred in many parts of North East, North Central and some parts of North West of the state. At the same time, light to moderate rainfall was recorded at one or two places in South Bihar.
Apart from this, heavy rainfall was also recorded at one or two places across the state. Mahua of the state has recorded 80.2 mm, Motihari 72.0 mm, Lalbihiya Ghat 75.0 mm and Bhimnagar 62 mm of rain.

At present, the information is that the turf line inclination of monsoon is towards south-west with increasing altitude. A low pressure area is very likely to form over north-west north-central Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours.
Under the influence of these weather data, there is a forecast of light and moderate rain in the north central and northeast of Bihar during the next 24 hours, while heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast in the northwest districts. Heavy rain is forecast in Sitamarhi, Araria, Kishanganj and East Champaran of Bihar.
