I haven’t recovered. This was my life. I had seen his first film of my life and seeing him felt that so much love came that I too should go into the industry in the same way and I should get love in the same way.
Dharmendra also said- ‘I wished that as soon as I came, I met him. That love also started getting unrequited to me. much love. I can’t tell. Dilip sahib was a more wonderful human being than he was. I would say that by stealing the light from this star of the film industry, I have lit the lamp of my dreams.’
Dharmendra further said, ‘Even today I say, there are many great artists, but I do not see anything more than Dilip Sahab. I just pay my homage, may she be blessed with heaven and may the Almighty give encouragement to Saira. In this video you can also see Dharmendra crying while remembering Dilip Sahab. Dilip Kumar breathed his last on 7 July 2021. He was 98 years old. Dilip Kumar entered the film industry in the 40s. He was the most loved star of Hindi cinema and was also the inspiration of many artists. His departure from the world was considered the end of an era of the film industry.
