In view of the growing trend of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the world’s leading e-commerce company Amazon may soon allow its users to make payments in cryptocurrency like bitcoin. Amazon is recruiting digital currency and blockchain experts for its payments team. Amazon’s Payments Acceptance and Experience team is looking for an experienced product leader to develop Amazon’s digital currency and blockchain strategy and product roadmap, according to a recent job listing.
The leader in products such as Cryptocurrency will work closely with Amazon’s various teams to develop a roadmap for customer experience, technical strategy and capabilities as well as launch strategy. Amazon does not yet accept cryptocurrencies as a form of payment.
Will start as an experiment

Amazon’s cloud arm currently offers a managed blockchain service. The company further added that new digital currency and blockchain product leads will need to operate with a high degree of autonomy, operate analytically, etc. to create new and innovative solutions to unsolved problems.”
Apple also started
Earlier in May, Apple had also listed a similar post. This post was for a Business Development Manager to work with alternative payment providers like Digital Wallets, BNPL, Fast Payments, CryptoKitties etc.
Tesla and Twitter also have hope
Tesla and Twitter are also optimistic about bitcoin as the next payment mode. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said that the online world needs a global currency, and our focus is on bitcoin because with this cryptocurrency everyone on earth can be reached. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has also confirmed that the company may resume payments in bitcoin once due diligence is completed on improving the energy mix used for mining the cryptocurrency.
