Dilip Kumar was ill for a long time. Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faizal Farooqui today was informed of the actor’s death on Twitter. Dilip Kumar was born on December 11, 1922 in Peshawar. His father’s name was Lala Ghulam Sarawar Khan and his mother’s name was Ayesha Begum. He has 12 siblings in total. His father was a fruit seller. Yusuf Khan studied at Devlali. He grew up with Raj Kapoor who was his neighbor too. Both later made their mark in the film industry.
