Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar has passed away. He was 98 years old. She took her last breath at 7.30am this morning. Dilip Kumar was admitted to hospital on June 29 due to shortness of breath. Dilip Kumar was ill for a long time. Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faizal Farooqui today was informed of the actor’s death on Twitter. He wrote – It must be said with great sadness that Dilip Saab is no longer with us.

Dilip Kumar was born on December 11, 1922 in Peshawar. His father’s name was Lala Ghulam Sarawar Khan and his mother’s name was Ayesha Begum. He has 12 siblings in total. His father was a fruit seller. Yusuf Khan studied at Devlali. He grew up with Raj Kapoor who was his neighbor too. Both later made their mark in the film industry.
