Two suspected Al Qaeda terrorists, who were detained from Kakori in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, were in the process of carrying out serial blasts in several districts of the state including Lucknow. These were sleeper cells but now they were working actively. There were going to be blasts in Lucknow and UP in today or tomorrow. A lot of explosives have been recovered from them. These people wanted to execute a big conspiracy. Planning was going on for several days. Right now there may be many such hidden things about which the raid is going on continuously.
The name of one of the arrested suspects is Shahid. He is said to be a resident of Malihabad. The house that was raided belongs to Shahid, where he lives with his family and works as a motor garage. The Kashmir connection of these suspects has also come to the fore, which is being investigated. According to UP STS, many people are connected in the network.
UP ATS has raided the house of Shahid, Riyaz and Siraj. According to neighboring Alam, his family has been living here for 12 years. Riyaz and Siraj are retired from government jobs and Shahid runs a garage. 9 years ago Shahid also went to Dubai for a job. It is being told that before the arrest, these terrorists had also burnt something. Police officers of Jammu and Kashmir are also in touch with ATS.
