The economy of UP was in seventh place and the work which was not done in 70 years, we succeeded in bringing it to number 2 in 5 years. The per capita income of UP was 45 thousand annually, it has now increased to 94 thousand. In 2015-18, the annual budget was 2 lakh crores, it has now become 6 lakh crores.

Apart from this, FSL did not have a lab and had to depend on other states for forensic examination. Today 6 FSL labs are functional in UP and 18 are being built.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that 364 riots took place in the state under the BSP government. Between 2012 and 2017 there were more than 700 riots in the SP government. There was no riot or terrorist incident in the last 5 years. He said, ‘Uttar Pradesh is the first state where no riots took place in the last 5 years and this has happened under our government. Apart from this, there has been no terrorist incident. He said, ‘Anti Romeo desk is working successfully in Uttar Pradesh.’

CM Yogi said, “As per NCRB data in UP, there has been a 58 percent reduction in dacoity, 23 percent murder, 53 percent ransom and 45 percent reduction in rape cases. In the last 5 years, 694 professional criminals have been prosecuted under the National Security Act. He further said, ‘Properties worth 2046 crores of the mafia who were a threat to the safety of daughters and sisters were demolished.’
- UP preferred destination for investment: CM Yogi
Yogi Adityanath said, ‘In the last 5 years, we have signed MoUs for investment of Rs 4 lakh 68 thousand crore. Uttar Pradesh has become the preferred destination for investment today. The MSME sector has got a loan of Rs 2.17 lakh crore.
- Government bought 794 lakh metric tonnes of food grains
CM Yogi said that 240 lakh metric tonnes of food grains were purchased during the BSP government and 217 lakh metric tonnes during the Samajwadi Party, whereas in the last 5 years our government has bought 794 lakh metric tonnes of food grains.
- No sugar mill closed in 5 years
Talking about sugarcane farmers, CM Yogi said that 29 sugar mills were closed in the earlier governments. Sugar mills have not closed in the last 5 years. Along with this, the UP government paid 1.57 lakh crore sugarcane farmers and 348 crore liters of ethanol was produced during the BJP government.

The assembly elections in UP will begin on February 10 with voting in 58 seats in 11 districts of the western part of the state.
