State’s Unaided Private School Association (UPSA) has also written a letter to Education Minister Dinesh Sharma appealing to open the school completely. The association has suggested that schools for classes 9 to 12 should be opened from July 19, while for classes 1 to 8, offline education should start from August 02.
So far no decision has been taken by the state government on this issue. Relaxation is being given in the rules of corona lockdown in the state from June 21, but till now no decision has been taken on opening schools and colleges. It is possible that schools should be opened by the end of July or in August after the situation of the epidemic is brought under control. Based on the suggestions of UPSA, the opening of schools for senior classes from July 19 can also be considered.
A decision has been taken to resume school in other states including Bihar, Haryana, while many other states are still in favor of continuing online education. There is also doubt among the students of Uttar Pradesh whether the schools-colleges are going to open soon or the state government will take more time to decide on this matter.
