
Weather mood will change in Haryana, heavy rain expected from August 19 to 21
Haryana Weather Alert: Haryana has seen a lack of rain in August, but this drought may end from August 19. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be torrential rains from 19 to 21 August.
Chandigarh. Haryana has received very little rain in August. These days people are very much troubled by the heat. There is good news for people troubled by the sweating heat. Now the mood of the weather is about to change. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that from August 19 to 21, there may be heavy rain in different parts of the state. August is considered for good monsoon rains, but so far this month has not rained as expected. There has been a lack of rain in this month, but this drought may end by August 19.
Explain that July and August are the main monsoon months which contribute 62 percent of the seasonal rainfall. Normally 285.3 mm in July and 258.3 mm in August is considered as the average rainfall. The Long Period Average (LPA) of the monsoon season with 880.6 mm of rainfall weighs heavily on its performance during July and August. June had started off well with rain. This rainy month ended with an excess of 10 percent.
However, due to the long break during the first 10 days of July, there were problems in these initial times. Despite recovery during the next two weeks, the month passed with a decrease of seven per cent. The first half of the season has ended by recording 449 mm of rain against an average of 452 mm.
According to the Meteorological Department, there are signs of slight improvement in the rainfall during this week. A Low Pressure Area is persisting over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Odisha and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. This weather system will move west-northwestwards over central parts covering Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
