Kanpur: In the case of murder of property dealer Manish Gupta of Kanpur, the victim’s family has expressed satisfaction over the action of the state government. Manish Gupta’s wife Meenakshi Gupta said that the government has accepted all the demands of the family. They are satisfied to meet CM Yogi.

Meenakshi Gupta said that she had raised the demand for compensation, government job and transfer of the case from Gorakhpur to Kanpur in this murder, which has been accepted by CM Yogi. The victim said that on the demand for a CBI inquiry into the incident, the CM said that she has no objection to this demand. He has assured that he will make a recommendation from the government for this.
After meeting CM Yogi, Meenakshi Gupta said, ‘He understood the seriousness of the case and told himself that the case should be shifted from Gorakhpur to Kanpur. I am thankful to Yogi ji. They have also approved my government job. I am satisfied to meet Yogi ji. Like the head of the family, he took all the decisions. He told me to apply for CBI probe, I see. I am sure that injustice will not be done to me now.

According to sources, on the recommendation of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Meenakshi Gupta will be appointed as OSD in Kanpur Development Authority. Politics should not be done in the case of her husband’s murder.

Let us inform that Manish Gupta, a property dealer by profession, stayed with his two friends at Krishna Inn Hotel in Gorakhpur. On the night of 27 September, at 12 o’clock, Jagat Narayan Singh, SHO of Ramgarhtal and Sub-Inspector Ajay Mishra along with their team reached the hotel for investigation. The policemen picked up Manish and his associates late in the night and checked their papers. When Manish objected to the search being conducted late at night, the policemen caught him and took him to the police station.
Many hours later, Manish Gupta was admitted to the medical college, where he died. Manish Gupta’s wife Meenakshi Gupta alleges that her wife has been brutally murdered. After being taken from the hotel, Manish was badly beaten up with sticks, sticks and rifle butts, he said. This work was carried out by SHO Jagat Narayan Singh, Sub-Inspector Ajay Mishra and Vijay Yadav along with other policemen.
