Chandigarh: The dispute between Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and State President Navjot Singh Sidhu in Punjab Congress seems to be resolved. Sidhu has said that he will continue to follow the principles of Gandhiji and Shastri. Whether there is a post in the party or not, he will stand with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.

Navjot Singh Sidhu said that negative forces tried hard to defeat me but every ounce of positive energy will win Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat. He claimed that the Punjab Congress is one and in the next assembly elections, the party will again come back with a thumping victory.

Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has ordered to withdraw the cases registered against the farmer agitators in Punjab. These cases were filed by the RPF for obstructing the railway track. CM Channi (Charanjit Singh Channi) said that now the income limit for the beneficiary girls has been removed in the state’s Aashirwad scheme. Along with this, he has also announced to restore the family pension for the government employees appointed after January 1, 2004 in the state.
