Lucknow: Amidst the ever-decreasing cases of Coronavirus, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to completely remove the lockdown from Sunday. There will be no closure on Sunday in UP from now on. Rakshabandhan is also the main festival of Hindus on Sunday.
- Rapid vaccination campaign going on in UP
On behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government, it has been said that along with aggressive tracing, testing and treatment to control Kovid, UP has shown rapid vaccination better. So far, more than 07 crore 01 lakh 69 thousand Kovid samples have been tested in the state.
Apart from this, more than 06 crore 24 lakh vaccine people have been administered. The number of people who have taken both the doses of the vaccine will soon cross one crore. Let us inform that till now 57 crore 22 lakh 81 thousand 488 doses of corona vaccine have been given across the country, out of which 12 crore 77 lakh 95 thousand 457 people have taken both the doses.
- 407 active cases of corona are present in UP
According to the data released by the Uttar Pradesh Health Department, on Thursday, 25 people were found infected with Coronavirus in the state. During this, 35 people were cured, while 2 patients lost their lives. So far, more than 17.09 lakh people have been infected with Kovid-19 in Uttar Pradesh. Of these, 16.85 lakh have been cured, while 22,789 patients have died. There are 407 active cases of Kovid-19 in Uttar Pradesh.
In view of the deteriorating situation of Kovid-19 in Uttar Pradesh, the weekly bandh on Sunday has been abolished. From now on, all the cities and their markets will have a holiday only on the pre-determined weekly closure days. Necessary guidelines have been issued in this regard.
- 15 districts of UP are corona free
Giving information on behalf of the Yogi government, it was said that due to the continuous efforts made due to the second wave of corona, life is rapidly returning to normal. Today, not a single patient of Kovid is left in 15 districts of the state namely Aligarh, Amethi, Badaun, Basti, Deoria, Farrukhabad, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Hathras, Kasganj, Mahoba, Mirzapur, Sant Kabirnagar, Shravasti and Shamli. These districts are corona free.
